Comarch Loyalty Management Goes Live for Azerbaijan Airlines’ Loyalty Program

Comarch and Azerbaijan Airlines announced a new collaboration which positions their partnership at a new level. On August 12th, Comarch Loyalty Management officially started to power the AZAL Miles program.

AZAL Miles, the loyalty initiative by Azerbaijan Airlines, is a unique frequent flyer program that rewards members with travel and status points collected through travels with Azerbaijan’s national air carrier. The program, which has been in operation for several years, had built membership to over 20,000 members. The airlines identified multiple needs including upgrades to modules such as Business Administration, Contact Center, and Data Hub.

To expand and modernize the AZAL Miles initiative, Azerbaijan Airlines chose Comarch as its new loyalty software provider. With Comarch’s vast portfolio in the travel industry, including collaboration with JetBlue Airways and Heathrow Airport, Azerbaijan Airlines placed immense trust in Comarch.

The implementation project was carried out in a record-breaking time. The 5-month timeline was recognized the airline; “We entrusted Comarch with an upgrade of our AZAL Miles loyalty program due to their vast experience in the airline industry. The implementation of Comarch Loyalty Management into our program was both swift and smooth, with Comarch delivering the solution within just five months of contract signing” says Araz Aliyev, Head of the Loyalty Department at Azerbaijan Airlines.

The magnitude of this new program upgrade, enabled by this collaboration with Comarch was highlighted by Mirjafar Jafarov, Advisor to the President at Azerbaijan Airlines, saying “This accomplishment is a testament to the collective efforts, dedication, and professionalism of everyone involved. I am truly grateful for the commitment and expertise that each partner, particularly Comarch, brought to this challenging project.
