Today, May 29th, the company announced enhanced capabilities for Contentful Studio. Contentful announced the general availability of its second product, Contentful Studio, in March to provide designers, marketers, and content editors with powerful tools to assemble intelligent experiences at scale. Now Studio also helps improve security settings to give teams more power and control, improves Server-Side Rendering to speed page rendering, makes it easier to undo and redo specific layers when designing a workflow, and more.

New integrations with Amazon Bedrock: Contentful launched an AI Content Generator powered by an Amazon Bedrock integration that allows users to create, rewrite, summarize, and translate content leveraging cutting-edge generative AI models available and accessible through Amazon Bedrock in an easy and secure manner.

Karthik Rau appointed CEO: Karthik was appointed CEO in April. As a company founder and seasoned executive, Karthik brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to Contentful. Most recently, Karthik served as founder and CEO of SignalFx, a cloud monitoring company focused on DevOps teams that was acquired by Splunk for $1.05 billion.

Pete Pedersen joins as Global Head of Communications: Pete started at Contentful in April, overseeing PR, internal comms, content, and social. Pete will broaden Contentful’s messaging and increase thought leadership with external audiences. Prior to joining Contentful, Pete worked at Sonos for nearly a decade, most recently as VP of marketing communication.
