Pointspay and Pay. Announce Strategic Partnership to Bring Loyalty Rewards Directly into Checkout for Thousands of Merchants

Zurich, 1 May, 2025 – Pointspay, the global leader in real-time loyalty payment solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Dutch payment service provider Pay. to enable thousands of merchants to integrate loyalty programs directly into their online checkout experience. 

Through this integration, Pay. merchants can now allow their customers to collect and spend loyalty points or Miles instantly during online purchases – starting with Flying Blue, the loyalty program  of the Air France-KLM group.  

This marks a significant evolution in the world of digital commerce. By embedding loyalty directly into the checkout flow, merchants gain a powerful new tool to enhance customer experience, increase basket size, improve conversion rates, and drive long-term retention. Crucially, the solution requires no additional technical development and can be activated through merchants’ existing Pay.nl setup.

Customers making online purchases across Pay.’s merchant network can now be rewarded instantly for their loyalty, either by using their Miles or points to reduce the cost of their purchase or by collecting rewards on their transactions. At launch, the integration will support the Flying Blue+ payment solution, allowing members to  earn/spend Miles on their purchases and to engage with the Flying Blue program beyond the world of travel.
